What Happens in Episode 4?
Episode 4 begins in the aftermath of the frightening events in Kızıl Vadi. Leyla has been pushed from a cliff, while Hüma has disappeared. Mirza first gets Leyla to the hospital, then returns to the valley to join the search for the child. The immediate question is whether he can find Hüma before the rising danger reaches her.
The search leads Mirza to a well where Hüma is trapped and water is rising. He goes down to rescue her. When Hüma is safe, she wraps her arms around him, a small but telling moment that makes Mirza’s growing attachment to her harder to dismiss. He takes Leyla and Hüma to the Kozaklı mansion, hoping to bring them out of danger.
The reunion does not settle the family conflict. At the mansion, Vuslat’s pressure and Hüma’s fear leave Leyla feeling cornered again. Mirza is also pulled back toward the history he shares with Leyla, even as he tries to decide what to believe about the attack and Hüma’s past.
Why Mirza Turns Against Leyla
The episode’s central shift comes when Mirza follows the attackers’ trail. The men claim Leyla hired them and staged the cliff incident to win his sympathy. Their accusation changes the way Mirza reads the rescue and reunion: he believes Leyla has manipulated him, and he throws her out of the mansion.
The official recap connects this turn to Vuslat’s scheme, but it does not resolve every detail behind the accusation. That uncertainty matters. Mirza’s decision is driven by what he has been told, while viewers are left to question who benefits from making him distrust Leyla.
Episode 4 Ending Explained: The DNA Test
The final confrontation is about more than whether Leyla can leave the mansion. When she says she will take Hüma with her, Mirza insists the child will stay. Leyla says Hüma is Nasim’s daughter. Mirza responds that Hüma may be his daughter and orders a DNA test.
The episode ends before the test result is revealed. It does not confirm that Mirza is Hüma’s biological father. Instead, the cliffhanger raises two connected questions: what will the test show, and will Mirza recognize that the attack story may have been used to turn him against Leyla? His warning that Leyla might never see Hüma again if the test confirms his suspicion makes the next chapter’s family conflict personal as well as emotional.
Episode 4 also advances the supporting stories: Ahu and Yağız face a life-changing operation, Mihre and Yaman’s growing closeness fuels Ceren’s jealousy, and Miray’s confrontation with Akif adds another source of tension.
