This is one of the most commonly used mixing methods in Photoshop. This blend works by multiplying the colors into a base layer with layers. The result is an image that appears to be dark. Any whites in the layers are untouched up, while the black heads appear much darker than the original picture or design.

Colourful

Like multiplication, the colorful burn mixture grows in contrast to darkening the base layer colors before mixing with the layer colors. Mixing with whites does not change the appearance of the photos at all. Although color is like multipurpose mode in burning, it makes the images darker.

The line to burn

Like color burn, this “burn” effect is created by dimming the brightness of the base layer colors before mixing with the blended layer colors. The results make the base layer much deeper without affecting the white pixels within the layer.

Dark color

This will brighten the base layer to reflect the mixture layer while adding the shine. Black remains the same.

Light color

Like a lightweight, light base and blends the layers, then holds a lighter of both. The difference between light and light color is the fact that light color looks at RGB channels as a whole, while light looks at individual channels to complete the mix.

The opposite

These blending methods create different effects using contrasts and depending on whether the base or compound layer is 50% lighter than brown. This category includes overlays, soft light, hard light, intensity light, linear light, pin light, and hard mix.

Overlay

One of the most commonly used methods, Overly uses screen mode at 50% power on brighter colors than browns. Black tones change mid tones to black, and light tones to make lighter tones.

Soft light

Like overlays, soft light has either a dark or mild effect depending on the value of light in an image or color, but in a more subtle form.

By combining multiplication and the screen, harsh light uses brightness in the compound layer to calculate its consequences. In general, it’s best to reduce the blur of the complex layer when using harsh light to achieve better results.
